Our Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Wayne County Public Health to promote, preserve, enhance, and protect the health and well-being of all persons of Wayne County and the environment in which they live.

It is the philosophy of Wayne County Public Health to make professional and paraprofessional health care available to all residents of Wayne County.

If needed health care is not available through Public Health, referral, coordination, and case management of services will be carried out to ensure patient access to health care.
