Even if you have private health insurance you can be eligible for dental coverage through Hawki.
When a child is enrolled, they will be eligible for 12 months. Coverage must be renewed every year. Renewal forms must be completed and returned every year in order for coverage to continue.
The Covering Kids and Families project in rural Iowa increases awareness of the availability of free or low-cost health insurance for children. The South Central Regional Coalition works with partners from Appanoose, Clarke, Decatur, Jasper, Lucas, Marion, Monroe, Poweshiek, Ringgold, and Wayne counties to reach families.
